S.M.A.R.T (Seniors Motivate Affect Revitalizing & Transcending ) and B.E.A.M.S (B.ody E.nergy A.dusting M.ind & S.pirit) are foundation Aerobic exercise, Low impact movement, Tai Chi, Yoga, Chair Zumba, Stretching, and Self-Care Regimen Massage programs developed especially for activity, health and fitness who work with all levels of fitness, mobility and special needs. The beauty of these programs exists in their simplicity and ease of understanding and application.
The S.M.A.R.T program teaches how movement works to benefit all the systems of the body. The magic of movement and breathing increases range of motion, relieves pain, decreases depression, relieves arthritis and promotes an overall feeling of well being. It is a gentle system that works wonders for revitalizing people after strokes or just years of neglect. We say that our bodies are temples, but yet for many of us the body becomes a prison. S.M.A.R.T helps to carve out some space within those prison walls, promoting lightness and purpose. Diaphragmatic breathing is the best way to stimulate your lymphatic system which helps rid the body of toxins and cellular waste.
